A special thank you to the crew operating SYD-BNK on Saturday and BNK-SYD today (Tuesday).
It’s hard when you can’t offer pax your normal service and everyone is a bit nervous but the crew keep on smiling. Thank you.
Also, was fascinating watching BNK cope with a delayed QF Q400 and a VA 737-800 - this terminal was recently expanded and I suspect the growth in BNK will continue unabated as people discover the region more. Checkin was interesting as the ground crew did both VA and QF - makes sense to share ground agents and ramp staff!
Postscript: this itinerary has been rebooked so many times I’ve lost track but it still seemed to have a double status credit promo attached. It’s going to be hard work requalifying platinum on SYD-BNK alone...
