I actually don't mind the Getz, my everyday drive is a lazy 6 cylinder sedan so a manual Getz can be a bit of fun machine sort of. ;)

Only if the gear lever doesn't break off (and you like driving a vehicle with absolutely no road feel at all).

A common fault..
 
Generally when I hire a car I have it for a few days so a Getz is out of the question because I will travel well over 1000km in a few days.

My best ever was just over 4000km for a one week hire.

TSV to ISA up to Kurumba and across to CNS with a side trip up to Port Douglas and back to TSV.

It was a huge week of travel.
