Likes used to be the only 'rating', and is still the number against the thumbs up thing to the left of a post. With the new site, there is also 'agree' and 'informative' which add to the 'likes' to make a total for 'ratings'.

Apologies for taking the thread off-topic.

Thanks Buzz and TV. Tonight I was working out how to pay some land tax and ATO this month on CCs.
I think I will miss that if I ever stop.

A true AFF legend cove

Thanks JohnK,rainbowgirl and andye. Of course Mrscove says I often think like an 18 year old male I think I have matured to at least a 25 year old despite being 67.
My two sons will both be in Sydney for the soccer, my SIL is flying home from London on SQ Suites and I am going to the Qantas AGM. Frequent flyer points and miles are being used so I am really happy to have found AFF about 10 years ago. I have never added up how much AFF has saved our family but it is quite a lot each year.
At the moment I don’t need to look at private jets seeing our family has enough points for lots of flights.
I saw on Bloomberg news that the private jet market has slumped so I wonder if AFF and FT have been responsible.

Well done cove ... with that and your exceptional blog, it's always enlightening to view your posts ... :D

Thanks serfty it is always fun to catch up if we can. I still drive a poverty pack in Los Angeles and using Argus still works great. As long as the hire car has a reversing camera and can go at the traffic flow speed it isn’t a problem.
My two sons use Uber or Lyft in the US and don’t bother hiring a car.

excellent posts Cove and congrats on the milestone

I still remember the first time I was to meet JT. I was looking for a lady not unlike the picture above. Got that wrong!
Trust serfty to find my blog on Frequent Flyer Fiend And The Game from the blogosphere.
Thanks for your comments dross, casanovawa and Princess Fiona.
It has been a real journey with quite a few travel mistakes together with some real successes and lots of fun.
