The aisle seat - is it really that good?

Did that on two flights BKK to Doha return and worked as low loading prior to Ramadan festival. Am always prepared to negotiate with staff if I see better seating option. JoyV

Maybe the system automatically selected 12J if the pax had an aisle seat as their preference in their ff profile.

A lot of pax still don't realise you can do seating at the time of reservation so often don't think about seating until the day before or (gasp) at the airport.

With the 388 most of the time I get autoallocated 12B on booking (2B on 744 3 class).

I used to change this to 12E ASAP. Now I change it to 12A or 12K (5B or 5J on 744).

Now that you've mentioned this... as a warning, do not fly on QF128 on 13 Jul, and QF127 on 21 Jul, unless you are willing to watch some domestic issues as part of your IFE. :-|

us M-I-L's get such a baddd name! I am a perfect one- especially when being utilised as a travelling companion - I have remarkable skills (like putting up a hootchie & digging a latrine) having needed them yet in my travels but you never know.
