i ended up getting to cards so far

a cba platinum, and a citibank platinum

i have also applied for an anz one but they are extremely slow in processing it

is there another card which is similar to cba and citibank platinum cards?
as i should have another one for when i reach those caps later in the year (if they do decide to cap me)

This may sound silly, but can't you just get two or more separate cc accounts? So like 2 x CBA Plat and 2 x Citibank Plat.

So yes you pay 4x the annual fees but you can earn up to 2 x 150k and 2 x 120k respectively?

I also face the same dilema of which cards to use.
I currently have CBA Plat M/Card and Amex.
My spend with MC is approx $250000 per annum. and with Amex $200000.
I am going to apply for a CBA Plat Visa.
This way i get no points leakage.
Can anyone see any better alternative?

Is that personal or business expenditure? If business, can you not get a pricing discount by not using Amex/Mastercard rather than just earning points?

Just thinking that through f this is a personal business and the discount you could get would equate to the flights you are earning, I guess you get a higher tax deduction paying a higher price and don't pay FBT on the points earned?

Simongr,
Many suppliers prefer the cashflow that they can achieve by immediate payment .
The alternative to CC payment is by monthly account. They run risks of small vendors (especially in the gift shops and maybe market) going brokfe. The cost of chasing money that exceeds normal trading terms is far more than the credit card charges these suppliers must pay.
