Also available at Virgin Wines for the same price after using AMEX 150/50 offer (need to buy two eGift Cards).
I had already bought a case when it was released at just over $100 ea so I will still look at adding more. Ta.

How does one get the 150/50 deal?

Need to save the offer on your AMEX account.
The Virgin Wines offer seem to be targeted, I’ve got it on 3 cards only. The previous Laithwaites offer was on all cards.

I have never got such an offer that I am aware of!

Has anyone tried the Dalrymple Cave Block Chardonnay 2016?

I tried the 2017 recently in a restaurant and thought it was stunning, exactly the type of chardy I like - buttery, creamy, toast with good fruits and acid still in there.

saw it my ourcellar for $29 instead of $35 for the 2017... does anyone know whether there's a big difference between the two vintages?

i think 2016 is warmer, so riper fruits and less acid... and one less point on halliday LOL

Any intel on the latest VinoMofo BM Chardonnays?

As a rule Dan Murphy's do not carry good French/International wines.

I would/do go elsewhere.

I disagree with that rule. There is a lot of average international wine in general. Dan's stock some of that. They also have some great intentional wines and some top end white Burgundy.

Not that I've ever seen. I've only ever seen really overpriced growth Bordeaux. Got any examples of good white burg they carry? I'm always on the hunt.

I've picked up some great bargains for Bordeaux over the years from Dans
2010 Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande for $259
2010 Château Pichon-Longueville Baron for $269
Are two of the more recent purchases that fit the bill.

As for white Burg, not off the top of my head. I haven't looked online recently. The fine wine stores will usually have some from my experience.

Edit: And also recently 2010 Chateau Mongravey for under $25.

Thanks for the response. I don't really get to the stores with the 'wine merchants' so perhaps I need to do more hunting at those.
