I feel very much like a Grinch lol
We don't have any decorations up not any expectations of putting up
Son and Dil will be celebrating at their house with grandson .
No time to pop over so no need for decorations
Also the first year Santa won't make an appearance for son :( rather sad about that. Son now has a son who needs santa to visit
The pillow slip santa would fill I have no idea what to do with

My mini-mes were home from Ogre College Boarding this weekend and the tree was trimmed 🤩
We aren’t anywhere near organized enough for a color scheme, it’s an assortment of gifts, pre-school/ Kindy Xmas craft over the years and trinkets collected on travels. We can’t wait for Xmas. As a bonus we came across Santa on his Harley driving back to school tonight ❤️B2B333A7-7647-4D3D-A009-5DFB1E393A95.jpeg12C7E4E1-7516-4428-8C23-B3187DA167EA.jpeg

Great photo. How did your mini me’s manage to get such an action shot of the bike and of you in the perfect pose?

Thank you !!
There was a million different shots of Santa we were beside or behind him for about 50 km.
They are both Snapchat veterans ☺️

8ft Christmas treee being delivered to office today. We had a reno since I ordered it and now Im worried about about its placement as its going to be wide once the branches settle. Oh well, we've got 2 other hallways to use.

Santas Mail Box is placed in front of GMs office door - as he giveth the bonuses, I thought it was an appropriate touch ;)

Hubby so sick we didn't put tree up yesterday. Who gets flu in December? (not me for some reason, I'm fine so far!)

Office Griswold coming up.

For the past few years we have a 'Christmas Bookshelf'. All the lights and baubles go on and around it, and the presents at the base and it looks good. As it's a small low bookshelf, the fam think it works well. ;)

Last drought, about 7yrs ago, a friends mum put a big gumtree branch in the corner and said thats it, shes done. Considering Im about to decorate a 8ft live tree, sounds like a good idea.

8ft tree just delivered from Dural Tree Farm.... they thought it was for the building lobby and not my office foyer :)

Was told they delivered approx 30 trees and today its about 25 and this is just one team. The cost of delivery and take away was as much as the tree but good luck to them, its a service Im (company) happy to pay for.

Merry Christmas to Me.

Loved the theatre of mixing this with tonic water. It really does change colour, from a vivid purple to a soft pink. It was quite tart though, so I may seek some coughtail recipes that lend a more sweet tang. Any Gin aficionados out there?

When we were at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery I had a coughtail that had elderflower cordial in it - I am not a gin/coughtail drinker but I loved it !! ;)

My decorations were put up about 3 weeks ago - I have a schedule where I do a few things every week so it remains fun and not stressful. Here are some of the extra decorations apart from the tree.

the nativity set is Lladro - bought it in Barcelona in 1998 and 10 year old Master FM carried the two carry bags containing it back to Australia (via Paris and Singapore). 4CF35AE1-3851-4685-ABE4-812FF574BAC6.jpeg61F63528-4AC4-4B3D-B05A-503A2AB466ED.jpeg

And what's with the dachshund pic? :D

I actually have a small bottle of elderflower liqueur - will definitely try that one!

Loving your gorgeous facade pics @blackcat20 - the red bows against the iceberg standards are to die for! And what a great idea to stagger the install @Flying mermaid. (Fabulous house BTW) I am green with envy over the Lladro set.

I am getting older and more tired every year. Our over-the-top lights and decorations need to be scaled down a lot. But it's almost funny how Mr Clipped keeps suggesting more bling here and there though.......

I'll post some photos once we pull the switch this Friday night :)

I returned back to my old stomping ground the other day and our old street ties large red bows on all the street trees. Nothing like that down here though. I am planning on putting the blinking lights overlooking the beach though hopefully it will drive the Grinch neighbour below us crazy!
