A friend of mine got married on the day before her birthday. It just happened to be my birthday that she chose as her wedding date.

Aghhh, there's only one good thing about this one and its tax free access to Superannuation!

So 38 years ago we got married. Rained all day then too. The reason that date? It was the long weekend in June and MrP just started at work and didn't have leave due.

Sigh. I was younger back then.

3rd June, 1978 and my 22nd birthday.

But a bit sad too. Mum always gave me red roses for our wedding anniversary. Not anymore.
