I remember one of my sons' class projects way back when he was in year 5? (6?) was tracking birthdays of the class year. Over 50% were born in the last third of September (as was he - 27/9). I remember asking "what about say the first week in October?" He replied "why?" "I said "summer holidays". "Huh?" came the reply. Sigh. Time for THAT discussion .
