I enjoyed reading your trip report @Lady Emily , and now have booked some flights to Singapore in November.
I have been taking notes. Did you mainly use public transport to get around? And if so did you buy a pass? or just use your credit card?

The Lady and her Lord have returned to rainy and gloomy radelaide. Yesterday was our last day in Singapore so finished off with more delicious food (going to miss my morning kaya, kopi and eggs) grabbed a few last.minutes souvenirs / gifts and then back to the hotel for the dreaded will everything fit in our bags or do we yet again have to buy an extra bag but fortunately fitted in and off to Changi we go. Enjoyed some bao buns in the lounge as well as a merlion blush coughtail. For something different we decide to head home via Perth which meant a night at airport hotel to fill in the 10 hours between arriving and departing. Definately took longer than if we went via sydney or melbourne. Now home unpacking and planning the next big trip which is currently hoping to be Europe for christmas 2023- Jan 2024 thanks for tagging along and ill go back to jealously reading others trip reports 😂
The Roti Canai looks inviting :D

Glad you enjoyed… we still had MRT cards from previous visit which still had some credit still on them and did top up. We didn’t use credit cards but plenty of people were. We also used grab (Singapore’s Uber) unfortunately you can’t add credit card til you are in Singapore. There were some places we visited would take 40-60 minutes via public transport so opted for a 10-20 min trip via Grab. Only times we struggled with getting a Grab was back to city from Tiger Brewery and Tanglin Gin distillery (it was pouring down though so not suprising)

Thank you @Lady Emily I have noted your information.Last time we used a taxi from Changi.
We took a ta I from the airport, probably cos we were on autopilot. There was a sign with my taxi wait times just after we collected our baggage it said more than 30 minutes but we were in a taxi in about 10 mins.
