The Pinot Noir & Grenache Thread

Thanks for the heads up qaz. I should consider a subscription to TWF (good job they didn't call it Wine Tasting Front eh?).
I've loved the recent 2015's, punt road and hoddles creek. It's been tough on the wallet this year, so much good stuff coming out and then along come the 2016 eden rieslings...

Anyhoo, can you share the TWF scores for the alliance? Pretty please, with a cherry (and some forest floor) on top?

just been ranked Number One in high profile Decanter magazine in the UK. The in-depth tasting of more than 170 pinot noirs from across New Zealand in Decanter’s September 2016 issue was carried out by a panel of three prominent UK industry wine judges. Lowburn Ferry Home Block Pinot Noir 2014 scored 96 points out of a possible 100, giving it “Outstanding” status in the tasting. Lowburn Ferry’s Home Block Pinot Noir 2014 “shone” for one of the panel - Phillip Tuck, MW. “A mightily impressive and complex Pinot in an admirably understated, fresh and cool-climate style…Generous without being rich, and stylish without being showy,” he said. “Truly beautiful” was how he summed up his tasting notes.

The stonier reserve deal looks good - can anyone here help me with becoming signed up to the den? I don't (yet) have a WF subscription, but am contemplating... Thanks!

I've tried the Tolpuddle Pinot on the weekend, absolutely loved it but obviously baulked at its price. Any cheaper alternatives? Thanks
