Not sure about that, been sitting there for a while and doesn't seem to be moving that fast. Tempting though.About 158 cartons and likely to sell out.

I saw this was offered for 39.90 at DM before? Although no more stock at DM.2020 Bay of Fires Pinot, now avail and a good deal @ $38.33 in a 6-pack through owner cellarone.
Already achieved 2x trophy’s and 2x gold’s, including Most Outstanding Red Wine in Show at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show. Backup the truck!

Fwiw they removed Bay of Fires PN when running the 10% off store wide last week. Probably confident that they don't need to discount/have limited supplyNot sure about that, been sitting there for a while and doesn't seem to be moving that fast. Tempting though.
Thanks. Snapped up a 6. Hope your tastes are as good as Qaz.2020 Bay of Fires Pinot, now avail and a good deal @ $38.33 in a 6-pack through owner cellarone.

Anyone tried 2020?
Mine arrived today. Will try tonight and give you some amateur tasting notes.Anyone tried 2020?
How did it go?Mine arrived today. Will try tonight and give you some amateur tasting notes.
Hey,How did it go?
Thank you!Hey,
Polished off most of the bottle so rather well. It was more pepper than spice that hid the strawberry/cherry notes. Silky tannins and no alcohol heat. Very nice but I think the $35 odd I paid was about right. Happily I have 5 left to see if it improves in the bottle.
At full RRP I would rather a curly flat.
I’m having one now. I also see cellarone have a site wide sale this weekend (with discount added in cart) and have added some mixed pinot packs with Eddystone and back vintage bay of fires. How did it go?

I had an ‘18 bay of fires recently at a lunch and was very impressed. The 19’s are also impressive and quite dense. This 20 is really different. It’s a translucent bright pale ruby, almost purple colour. Elegant and still primary, with strawberry fruit and what seems like clove. Although mid body and lighter colour, it’s surprisingly intense with a wallop of spice and long finish. I’m guessing this is how it competed against Shiraz, but I wouldn’t say it drinks like one. Plenty of intrigue, which is why this grape is so good. Should settle down a bit over next couple months in bottle.
Agree. Prices have crept up on a number of good pinots over the last few years. Seville Estate is another good example. RRP’s getting hard to justify2018 BoF PN was phenomenal, as well as 2017. Last two vintages were good but nothing there to knock your socks off. Decent value at CellarOne price, not so much at RRP.
2019 just arrived so will give it a go tonight and compare to last week's 2020.Agree. Prices have crept up on a number of good pinots over the last few years. Seville Estate is another good example. RRP’s getting hard to justify

I'm happy to collect it and store it at my placeI liked it. To be honest, my tasting went out the window at that point in the day. I had intended to buy some but landed up forgetting to add it to my order. I'll probably order some when I get home and just get it shipped, but not overly happy about a) the price Rockford charge for shipping and b) shipping wine at this time of year. So I'll need to consider my moves on this one I think.
