Wine competitions are money making operations and are rigged. They probably won because they colluded with the organisers.

Because much of the bling won by a lot of the wines cannot be explained any other way.
Not in my opinion, which is after all just an opinion.
So in other words. No actual evidence, just a wild statement.

I really enjoyed it. Probably the best sub $30 pinot I've tasted, although I don't drink it extensively. You can usually get a better price using whatever vouchers are going on at Cracka atm:Anyone sampled this and care to comment?

How did you get on?Pinot palooza in Melbourne today. A lot of big names there. Should be a good one!
Hi Everyone,
Pinot Palooza is coming up this year, and while old followers of these / wine trade people like me might be turned off by the crowds and poor manors shown at the tasting tables it's still worth going.
Curious if anyone knows any coupon codes for a discount on the tickets?
I'm a long time reader of this site but a new member.
Just keep on hearing good things about The Wanderer Pinot Noir 2015 so have finally purchased a case.

How much? Tried it yet?
qaz The Wanderer Pinot Noir 2015 was at the floral end of the spectrum. Elegant and persistent. Discounted to $45, down from $50.
