The Qantas Singapore Lounge

Re the printer issue - There's a simple solution that is already active elsewhere in Singapore.

I found the PrinterOn based fcilities in both the Admirals and SkyClubs quite useful last weekend when in the USA.

Simply attach a document (e.g. .pdf) to an email and send it from your Netbook/Tablet/Smartphone/Laptop etc ...

PrintSpots Directory

Welcome to the PrintSpots Directory. This directory allows you to search and print to the PrinterOn network of printers.

With thousands of locations to choose from, printing on-the-go is easy and convenient. Print documents, email messages, attachments, boarding passes, web pages and more from your smartphone, tablet or laptop to many of the locations below.

(Not all locations listed in the PrinterOn Directory are public printing locations. Some may be located at businesses who use the service to provide printing for their guests and are not accessible to the general public.)

Has anyone been to the QF SIN lounge recently? Going through SIN in a couple of weeks time.

I wonder if I have to take a stroll to the EK lounge to get proper Champagne?

There has been a lot of mention on various things regarding the new Lounge which IMO is first class, my other half is very padantic on cleanliness etc and we cant fault it ( mind people cutting toe nails etc IMO in NOT on and things like that should be policed)but what my main comment is about is the the service you get when you are in there from the VERY polite staff, they cant do enough for you, when we were in there last night lovely people going out of there way to give GREAT service, Thank you and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

I was there mid last week. Certainly an improvement on before. Great staff and a large sit-down eating area (I had the spicy chicken - very nice!) There seemed to be a large selection of spirits, and I got the impression they would make any coughtail you wanted. The only downside was that there was no cider available - doh!

The Bar folk could do with a title bit of Aussie drink education, a lady asking for a Bundaberg Ginger Beer got told they don't have Bundaberg Rum!

Who was it that had 3 Creme Brûlée the other night?
I just had 2 and couldn't possibly fit any more in after the grilled salmon, followed by a dish of the braised chicken. Outstanding meals, service and drinks (no champagne).
Second time in the Singapore Lounge (first with Mrs Dmac) and didn't disappoint. Might go to the Emirates Lounge for a quick glass if Bollinger before the flight

Thank you for sharing your first hand account. I'll ensure your comments and suggestions are passed on the team for their reference. Cheers.
Have you got a desktop and printer installed for me yet? I will be passing through again in a couple of weeks. ;)
Don't try the CX Skyview lounge though, its a horrible excuse for a lounge and the food was simply terrible..
Sorry to hear you had food poisoning but my experiences at Skyview lounge are the total opposite to yours. I find it is quiet and it is a 24 hour lounge and comes in handy for those overnight connections.

Champagne is certainly a good reason to visit a lounge, but you won't be disappointed with the QF lounge overall. I spent a few hours there last week and would rate it the best J lounge I've ever been in. The food was excellent (buffet was good, but the options you could order were excellent), the bar staff were happy to make decent coughtails (e.g. negroni) and the atmosphere was great. I'm back there next weekend and moved my flight to the later QF6...partially to enjoy more time in the lounge (but also because I didn't really fancy a 6am arrival time into SYD!)

Don't try the CX Skyview lounge though, its a horrible excuse for a lounge and the food was simply terrible.. I had food poisoning later that night, and during my flight so can only assume it was Skyview as there was about 10 hours between eating there and getting sick.

Didn't have food poisoning on my one visit years ago, but I agree the food was pretty poor...

Cheers,
- Febs.

The Skyview lounge had much better food than QF prior to the re-opening, now it can be just a bit more peaceful at times. Bathrooms small and horrible too.
