What do you mean by "droop" ?
Not fully flat ?

Apologies for going off-topic, but this month I flew a A380 DXB-LHR, and a refitted 747 JNB-SYD, so both Mark 2 Skybeds. I was surprised that both seats were definitely on a angle.

Wow! I thought my seat selection of row 12 on my upcoming trip would overcome this issue.
Isnt QF9 an A380, meaning you only had row 11 in front of you, and were the second row served?

Do they always serve front to back ? (e.g. Im doing Qf9 MEL to LHR then QF10 LHR to MEL return)
Yes, emerald city is rows 11-13 on the A380 and row 11 gets served first. Front to back is what I have observed (and also from other reports here).

What do you mean by "droop" ?
Not fully flat ?

Yes. It may be due to several reasons, including wear and tear or people standing on them to get to the overhead bins.

Did you notice or ask them about their droop?

Yes. On the MEL-LHR they gave me a fold open stool-like thing to prop the bed up (I queried why the bed was broken and could not reach a fully flat position).

Interesting, what seats were you in?

QF24 from BKK on Tuesday really shone.Mrsdrron doesn't do spicy. The 2 small plates were spicy,2 of the 4 large plates was spicy, one of the others was a tofu dish leaving her basically 1 choice.
And again Neil perry repeat after me-green leaves do not a salad make. How long does this have to go on for?The Y salad was much better, even had tomatoes and carrot.
Then the café brekkie-fruit salaed or a toasted ham, cheese and tomato salad-served cold.

Interesting. How/what was/were their response to your query ?
I wonder if this phenomena occurs on other airlines with flat-beds ?
Hmmmmm - might be time for a new thread.

Upstairs exit row(window, left) on the 747; 19A & 19B on the A380 (partner's seat droopy too).

I don't fly Qantas all that often, so I thought that my memory must have been tricking me, that maybe they were never flat on the A380....
