Is this the ultimate in in-ear earphones, providing great sound isolation (-26dB) and audio quality?

They may have to make my Christmas wish-list for next year ... if Mrs NM wins the lotto .

My current Shure SE535 units have 3 drivers per ear, but 8 per ear! And my QC15s don't get anywhere near -26dB reduction.

Anyone got these in their carry-on bag?

So this wouldn't qualify as the latest in in-ear technology-

I saw years ago some custom moulded in ear monitors - now if only these had a bluetooth option... Ooh - just had a thought... couple these with RIBBON Stereo Bluetooth Streamer - BlueAnt Wireless and you have exactly what I have been searching for!

Looks like I need to pick up that $10m jackpot in the $5 lottery...

That's a really nice product... I'm going to save that link and dream about buying it.

These have been put on my wish list along with an Audi R8, a mansion and my own private jet plane. One day....one day!!

On a serious note can anyone actually recommend a good set of earphones that are reasonably priced and are good at cancelling out noise. Nothing worse then sitting on a plane listening to music or watching a film with the sound of the jet engines roaring away in the background.

I really like the Shure range of in-ear headphones, far better than Bose active noise cancelling if you dont' mind the in-ear models.

I've had the SE215's and currently have SE425's and both have been really good, have the added bonus is that they are comfortable to sleep while wearing as well which helps you pass out on the plane

I'm going to get a set of Bose QC 20's when I go to the LOTFAP in Dec. I like my QC 15's but looking for a good but not outrageously expensive in-ear pair for sleeping long haul.

They would if the price is at Least $1000 per ear.

I have used Monster Turbine Copper Pros with their added bonus of lifetime warranty. They are noise isolating so no battery to haul around or forget to switch off. Come with many different attachments so basically your own personal fit.
