Apologise if this is in the wrong thread ( happy for it to be moved ) Could someone help me with some information? I have been trying for the last couple of weeks to book and award flight in J class SYD - HNL in August 2016. I have been using expert flyer to set an alert an checking myself regularly but there seems to be no seats available. What I'm wanting to know is this a particular hard booking to make or am I trying too far out from my travel dates.

Thanks in advance

It's a hard flight to book! The route is popular for holidays, and platinums (and higher) can ring Qantas to ask for additional award seats to be released... so whatever's gone is probably gone!

As I understand it, it's extremely hard to find J reward seats on this flight.

Could anyone tell me how quickly a QF flight voucher reaches my inbox after buying? Thinking of buying some vouchers to buy some flights, but I'm not familiar with this indirect method of booking. Any help appreciated.

From my past 2 years experience, generally they arrive within 30 minutes of booking. Never had an issue with them - now the arrival of the points in my account are a different question :o

Please note that this thread is not about general questions, but rather was a resource to quickly locate pages on the QFF website.

If you have general questions, use the search function first to see if there is a previous (open) thread about the subject.

As I've espoused before, I think this thread is getting to the end of its shelf life and time to retire it (it should be retired before me!!)

It was set up when mapping the QF web site was much easier and I had time on my hand. I'd be surprised if many of the pages in the first 4 posts didn't give 404 errors :o.
