They clearly have forgotten that they can be used as billboards to produce advertising revenue

Yes but airbridges means Capex, tugs and operators and maintenance . MacBank and related entities operate heavily on rate of return basis. Anything spent in HBA has to earn a better return than competing opportunities. Whether something is needed in HBA isn't that important.

The airports grand master plan was launched about 3 years ago and marginal improvements were just emerging. Master plan already out of date due to surging tourist numbers so improvements now halted while they re do it.

But we still wont get airbridges, any expansion will be for retail, not passengers.
