Unlike the day I was returning DRW-SYD on Ansett after a stint on an oil rig in ZOCA (Timor Gap). Sitting in my seat whilst on the tarmac in ASP I see my bag disappearing on a trolley. A bit of discussion with the FA saw it returned before take-off.

Arriving at ADD around 7pm was an oasis of calm ..... then the Sheba Cloud 9 lounge rapidly filled up and was like an absolute zoo. There's a simple solution, run to the other end of the terminal and use the Plaza Premium lounge; much quieter! Thanks AMEX Platinum.

Sheba Cloud 9..... where people think it's fine to watch videos on their phone with no headphones, to have loud video calls for over an hour ...... ugh.

Plaza Premium. Much better.
