The view from my "office"

re: The view from my "office"

Thats what the sign says. What's the car, is it the new Jag?
Yes. The new XE model. Portfolio model 2 l diesel. Goes quite well.

Avis Prestige have lots of good cars in the UK to choose from.

re: The view from my "office"

Thats one fancy rental!
Am quite enjoying it. Leather electric memory seats, lots of toys, heated steering wheel!

Comfortable, goes well and returns 57mpg (whatever that is in SI units).

Not sure if I prefer it to the C class but it's close.

plus in the UK it gets you more cred on one lane roads from the country RangeRiver set.:)

re: The view from my "office"

2L diesel in that thing seriously worries me :o.

What's the 0-100 time - next week  :D .

re: The view from my "office"

This office is now closed for the weekend. (and for the next couple of years) Wood cut & stored for our next few winters.
Every one of those logs has my gloved fingerprints on them at least twice. I am st***ed.

re: The view from my "office"

This chap, in an enviable pose in Tbilisi is modelled on a (small) statue recovered from a Colchis site in western Georgia, dating to 1st millennium BC. Obviously the Georgians have had a long time to perfect the art of drinking wine ... (I was told that the reason they drank out of horns was that it couldn't be put down until it was emptied, else it would spill :) )
