The view from my "office"

Marseille... didn't start well, but finished nicely. The tiny train is about as touristy as we get but it was actually kind of cool, pretty cheap too at €9 return. Takes you up to the church and winds around town too so good for getting a nice overview.

Impressive diaplay of mosaics inside Notre Dame de la Garde both on the roof and the floors.

Overall a decent city and I think I prefer it to Bordeaux, Nice, Cannes etc.

Infinity bridge, Marselisborg, Aarhus DK
A bit ho hum.

We got there with the Donkey Republic Bikes from our Airbnb in central Aarhus. Google maps said 12 minutes but we took 20 due to tentativeness and lack of practice - been over 10 years since we rode on a push bike

Mary was not home, so no midday changing of the guards but the gardens were opened.

They will go through you!
We stayed over on the right side of the bike path. They are actually polite and didn't curse when we held them up. But yes as soon as they got past us they zoomed off

No one here pretending they are on a Tour de France with Lycra, wrap around sunnies like in AU. Just normal clothes
Interestingly they sit very upright when they ride their bikes. No need for aerodynamics

Being from Melbourne...I'm not a rugby person at all so may be wrong, but aren't those pitch markings for Union, not League?
