The view from my "office"

Tome to go home unfortunately so the GA lounge in CGK is my office for a little while. Beat my previous record tonight by some margin as it took only 16 minutes from kerbside drop off until sitting in the lounge. Was an absolute breeze and I always find it a very easy airport to navigate despite the size

Yesterday in Stockholm’s summer was exactly like a winter day in Perth! This morning after an early shower, the day stayed cloudy but dry, and a little warmer. Some of us visited the Vasa Museum this afternoon. What a stunning place! To see that original ship with its multitudes of carvings was amazing.

The smell of the timber was what surprised me. It is indeed fabulous.

Did a safari at Kumana National Park which is very close to Arugam Bay-also much less crowded than Yala. Saw another leopard and also a black necked stork. There are apparently only 10 of the stork in Sri Lanka. First two photos courtesy of our brilliant driver Lucky

You are really bringing back lots of fond memories from the many times I worked in Latrobe. loved the DRR.
I’ve been down to this region a number of times, but it was our first visit to DRR, like a hidden gem, loved it and long friendly chats with the volunteers. Mum moved to Port Sorrell, from Launnie, so spending more time out this way.
Was rather quiet, but the 7 other pax on the train were all from Qld.

From my railway office on the bridge from Sweden to Denmark. Amazing! The train then went into a tunnel to reach the next stop of Copenhagen Airport. This incredible view across the sea just wasn’t long enough. (There were more sailboats than the photo shows.)
