The view from my "office"

No idea what they were doing but this group was on the balcony at the Adelaide town hall and waving at everyone that was looking up at them for a photo. I should put this in the little things I like thread because it made me smile

My dear wife works one day a week at one of the new offices at the old RAAF Base Fairbairn and I'm her chauffeur for the morning. It's not as if I mind hanging around airports. I look at any interesting birds at the RAAF hangar and I check out the more humdrum stuff on the other side.

Spotted this, a sufficiently rare sight that I felt inclined to stop and get a shot through the heat haze.

Perth, looking from The Crowne Plaza over the river.
I didn't recognise it either, and I live in Perth. However, I do not stay at any of the Crowne Burswood properties. The skyline across the river at that point is not obviously Perth to me, whereas the more central pointy towers are.

The CP was my home away from home once a month Precovid. It’s was very tired when I passed through from SIN last year.
