At least you get a break. The lounge room wall is starting to look a bit boring!
Hot is just the way I love it. Drink 3.5L of fluid during the round of golf and come back to clubhouse 1kg lighter. Generally a drink stop every 3-4 holes so a Thermos with ice cubes just about lasts. Also have a little cool box to put ice cubes inside.Nice stuff JohnK nice hot humid looking too, not hard finding watering holes in such weather.

From the tee box we play it is only ~129yds-138yds and generally only a pitching wedge-9iron for me. I have missed the green a couple of times and one of those it pitched on the green and spun sideways off the green into the water. I have had quite a few 3 putts as well. The 17th hole looks a little more peaceful without the amphitheatre of loud fans. How many times have you found the drink?
The view outside my real office window 5 mins ago in Sydney. Tomorrow my work day is in Yerong Creek for the day.

LOL. Yes it looks and plays much easier than the real 17th at TPC Sawgrass. I think you'll find the majority of amateur golfers including me could not handle lightning fast greens. I don't enjoy golf when a putt rolls off a green into a lake/creek or rolls 40-50 yards down the hill. That hole looks a bit more forgiving than the 17th at TPC. The bunker's bigger and I assume the green isn't nearly as fast. Did you see the tournament on Sunday? Players who ended up in the middle of the green only had to touch their ball to get it rolling, otherwise they could have easily putted straight into the water.
Lovely photos JohnK and I hope you played well!LOL. Yes it looks and plays much easier than the real 17th at TPC Sawgrass. I remember our 16th hole at Bardwell Valley once where my 20ft putt ended up back at my feet 3 times. It would reach the hole, stop, then roll back down the hill. Think I had a 5 putt. I know of someone having a 7 putt that day.
