Looking down towards where we finished walking.

Ah! Never thought of that angle. Well done.:)

Plus, if you have the Fitbit Surge, it does indicate altitude reached ... sort of ... and that may have been bought duty free on a point earning card!

Wearing a Fitbit does indeed indicate a certain attitude. Not sure it's one I aspire to though.:)

Shall I scratch your name off the Kokoda walk then? ;)

Mine (which was indeed bought duty free with a 1.5/$ point earning card and earned DF points as well) currently tells me that so far this morning (it's currently lunchtime) I've climbed 23 floors, walked 7069 steps and over 5km and burned 1746 calories and my heart rate is currently 85. Trouble is, I have absolutely no idea if that's good or pathetic!

We did reach some altitude, and go down and back up again before a very steep descent. Altitude chart below :)

My cousin tried to get me to come down with him to play there...now (after seeing the photo) I wished I had...:(
I've seen some of the tours advertising Barnbougle and Lost Farm. It'd be cheaper to fly to SFO and play Pebble Beach.

Ah,King Island golf course.
Up hill take a lofted club and toss it high. The wind does the rest.
Downhill you need my 1 iron shots-no mre than 2 foot off the ground.Any higher again caught by the wind and it may end up behind you.
Unless you have that rare event for King Island-little or no wind.
Wind has no effect on a golf ball. Or so I am told....

Medically speaking I have no idea. But in language we can all understand 7,069 steps is worth 6 QFF points.

I've been doing this Assure step tracking for 14 days and have amassed a whopping 320 QFF points.

Just 300,000,000 steps to go before I hot my 280K award :)

Well there you go. Walking does indeed fit into a FFer forum! Also, how else does one get from priority check-in, to priority screening, to the lounge, to J, and finally to priority luggage collection??

Quite coincidentally, the same night I posted my fit bit data I received the below into my in-box ... more evidence of the close association with walking and flying! I've also only had the thing since Christmas!

Well I know at least one AFFer who prefers being wheelchaired around :p

But the real answer is being chauffeured in a buggy

Who was it that hit the headlines for having a motorised scooter in an airport?? A pollie I think ... was it Clive Palmer? (Would have been a sight if it was)
