Always a bit worried when we cross an active runway - this one had an A380 ready to come hurtling down it. Nice to see everybody was listening to ATC this morning and following directions.

These are less than half the potatoes from one potato plant in suburban Sydney. Not only do they look fresh but taste fresh too.

We got the old ones on QF49 last Wednesday and the new ones last night on QF50 - "hers" are fairy bread, "his" arty farty graphic design (didn't realise "hers" were different till we got home just now (sitting opposite sides of plane)). We even got a red Qantas biro this time - wow! their generosity knows no bounds !

Google maps sent me off the beaten track recently from Hua Hin to Kaeng Krachan Country Club. Waited 5 minutes for shepherd to clear a herd of buffalos from the track. Scared.

The golf course is an excellent layout. Used to be 27 holes with 9 holes now permanently closed and golf course is in poor state. Glad I played it though and had 3 birdies on the day.
