Arrived safely in Belgrade-road from Zlatabor is not really capable of managing the level of traffic we saw today
Impressed by Belgrade so far, have only done a short walk from apartment-last photo is taken from front door of apartment building

Poor old FS has been left for dead with this one.

Rosewood opened 3 months ago and the expression “spared no expense” sums this place up to a T ... think crazy rich proportions.

A well known Hong Kong family own RW, and they are going full speed at the competition. Brands like FS, MO, The Pen, etc don’t stand a chance. I think they’re opening another 20 + hotels across the globe in the next year or so.

The family own the land and have/are building 3 very large properties around and over the IC.

The views from the lounge are spectacular, but our upgraded suites have better .... no hotel in Hong Kong would have better views.

When it pays to be a tourist .... star ferry queue (central) about an hour 1/2 ago.

We zipped through the queue due to using tokens, not transport cards like the locals.

Have had a great morning in Belgrade. Visited the Tesla Museum Nikola Tesla Museum - Wikipedia . Then followed the tourist path to the Fortress & the river views

Caught the local bus down to a little fishing village called Perdika. Lots of Tavernas selling fresh fish and some nice beaches, quieter than the main town of Aegina. Moni island can be seen in the background, €5 return and you can often see deer or peacocks on the beach.

Back up in Aegina as evening fell, the clouds decided to foil tonight's sunset... the thunder and lightning in the background was cool, unable to snap a photo as the lightning struck though.

Todays trail ti the office was an interesting frog kissing exercise
Google offered reyjkavic to haifoss in a tad under 2 hours
The first 1:30 was a mix of 4 lanes and good country roads
The rest was seriously rough in places
Early on we found a fully Hyundai I30 grounded in a bit of loose gravel
We moved on and eventually bounced our way into Haifoss
Imagine my amazement to return to our wheels to find the Hyundai had arrived
I have no idea at all how it made it but if it escaped out the under car repair bill will be significant

Last day in Belgrade. Walked through local market, over the Sava river past the Splavs/floating bars and a Holocaust memorial then back via Orthodox Cathedral. Now around 6pm and a thunderstorm is trying to make it's presence felt
