Cometh the new day at McLeod Ganj, NW India foothills.

QR 131 was just as great as QR909 the night before. I didn’t want to leave this office today. I’m totally converted to QR now.

A couple of years ago daughter & SIL we wandering around up there when the Dalai cruised past in his car. Slowed down and gave a nice smile & wave to them. Seems a decent bloke to me.

Today’s office view is entitled ‘Look where you could have stayed’. It is brought to you from the 1970’s. (Are incandescent light bulbs still available to purchase?) Yes folks I am at the delightfully 1970’s themed HI Express South at SFO. (I am assuming it is 70’s theme and not just a failure to update anything for 40 years) An absolute snip at US$275 a night)

The ‘dream’ continues.

Tonight my office view is brought to you courtesy of the relatively new HI Express in Sumner, WA. IHG is still keeping the 80’s decor going on it’s new builds. My guess is that a long stay hotel type is being built to the left of the picture.
