Yes. They were in a tree in our front yard a few years ago.are they in your yard?
When I was young, my brother had a tawny as a pet - well as close as you could have a wild bird as a pet, It would ride around on his shoulder all the time and was very protective of him. They are gorgeous birds.Just love Tawny Frogmouths,.
I rescued a chick a few years back .
He kept falling and I picked him up and set him on a branch for mum to feed him.
Eventually they were away, but he came back a few times top say thanks.. stuff like that makes life nicer….
There is a pic of him on the birds of a feather thread
Looks lovely and there I was stuck at work (much easier to go in than work from home). Never mind, at least I am playing my part in moving some much needed funding to providers to continue services to the aged. It's actually quite fulfilling. The morning bike ride today. Around Bannister Creek/Canning River in City of Canning. About 10 km South East of Perth CBD

In keeping with your theme, here is one from my home office recently. My childhood house backed onto Bannister Creek. I remember building a 'bridge' over the river and we had a tree house that our next door neighbour (who was a builder) helped us build! We used to get a lot of snakes in our backyard, but fortunately our back yard was split over 4 levels so they generally didn't come up past the bottom one. Once or twice we had one go up a level and saunter around the pool though.
What am I seeing here? The view from my home office....... they've been at it again! Looks like it is squirrel on the menu today.

Are you sure it's not a hedgehog rather than a squirrel?
