Well I know you will all be very sad to know that my regular outside office photos from the old Railway Bridge at Como cannot continue. The northern side of the Georges River is one of the extra-lockdowned LGAs. Apparently large numbers of refugees from this LGA have been found sneaking across the bridge in the wee small hours and having clandestine gatherings in the famous Como Pleasure Grounds.

The police have finally caught up with this and put border patrols in place. However there are unconfirmed reports that Shire locals had sufficient time to wire the bridge in case of any determined attempts to breach the border. Focus will now be on Como station as the only way in/out is via train over the new bridge, so very easy to monitor.
