We used to come to Singapore a lot in the 70s/80s as well. Used to stay at the Sheraton Century Park, before it became either the Chinese or Korean embassy !Is everyone in Singapore?
I was based in SIN as a young engineer. Lots of great memories in the 70's and 80's.

Used to stay in the Singapura in Orchard Rd. The biggest building then was the Mandarin also in Orchard Rd, 7 or 8 storeys I recall. Next door was the "car-park", car park by day, food market by night.
