Jeepers, I used to eat there in the 90's during "work" trips on the way back to BNE after a hard morning of meetings/discussion at Bundall.

Is everyone in Singapore?
I was based in SIN as a young engineer. Lots of great memories in the 70's and 80's.
We used to come to Singapore a lot in the 70s/80s as well. Used to stay at the Sheraton Century Park, before it became either the Chinese or Korean embassy !

I'd fly in an out 3-4 times a year. Immigration would check your hair. If it was over your collar they'd give you scissors and a mirror to "fix it". Used to pin my hair up with bobby pins. Sometimes it worked.
Used to stay in the Singapura in Orchard Rd. The biggest building then was the Mandarin also in Orchard Rd, 7 or 8 storeys I recall. Next door was the "car-park", car park by day, food market by night.

I remember the car park food markets from the '70s. Lots of diverse food and colour!
