Small village in Rajasthan, India.
Kids love having their photos taken — as long as you show them and allow them to swipe on your phone so they can see all your pics! Play a great game too where you try to find kids whose photos have been taken by previous visitors to the village.
Magical place.

We were trying to enjoy the tranquility - when crunchitty crunch crunch along came some hearty German tourists in their very loud hearty German voices shlepping their very hearty suitcases very noisily along the gravel paths. Talk about killing the moment!Nice views of Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto but packed with tourists. Thankfully the temples and gardens at Ryoan-ji and Ninna-ji were much quieter. View attachment 203919

Argh! For us it was bus loads of Chinese tourists pushing and shoving to get their selfie with the golden pavillion. We were trying to enjoy the tranquility - when crunchitty crunch crunch along came some hearty German tourists in their very loud hearty German voices shlepping their very hearty suitcases very noisily along the gravel paths. Aaah revenge.... a dish best served cold (well Swiss German anyway). We likewise tried to enjoy the tranquillity of the Lion Monument in Lucerne but it was spoiled by a large group of gabbling Japanese tourists - "Oh for God's sake, SHUT UP!" I exclaimed, probably a bit too loudly .......... Deathly silence and twenty five pairs of dagger looks as they quietly stood quietly took their photos and shuffled off. Then from the other side of the park a lone slow clap - made my day.We were trying to enjoy the tranquility - when crunchitty crunch crunch along came some hearty German tourists in their very loud hearty German voices shlepping their very hearty suitcases very noisily along the gravel paths.
