This week they promised an XXL Fireworks show - looks like they delivered. (It's normally around 5 minutes of )

Yes, it was very good and more so because it was unexpected and we had a great view.

Been a busy couple of days since Boxing Day....

Pelicans Landing, Williamstown for a couple of quick bevvies before heading to the casino for a Nutters family dinner....


Followed by a leisurely brunch with myself and Mrs Nut at West48 cafe in West Footscray. The food and coffee was amazing! Mrs Nut had the corn fritters with bacon, poached egg and avo and I had French Toast and bacon.

Just when I though NYE was going to get dodgy interesting...
It's now been removed, including the cables attached to the mounts on the lower side of the roof. Can't see anyone in the immediate vicinity, but there are multiple access points.

With my sister visiting, I'm doing all the local touristy things. Here is Glenrock State Conservation Area. Walked 16km, roughly 18,500 steps, 3 hours.

Today it was Wat That Thong at Ekkimae BTS station in Bangkok. A distant relative of the Royal family had his funeral service yesterday. His body was on display for 5 days before. The last day the signal said was for the Royal family to visit.

You can just see the outlet with a wisp of smoke.
