On my transit between offices at FRA. Airport boards entertained me for hours as a kid learning geography and I still had to pause to take it all in.

I’m still on the World Cruise on Regent Seven Seas Mariner. And yes, I have mentioned I was here a year ago and saw these sites, and lots of wild life, close up on a zodiac. In an excited way, I think, not bragging.

Any posts up until June 24th will be from my floating “office”, Seven Seas Mariner.

P.S. At 4:30am we evidently passed an iceberg that was 9 miles long! The Captain even said, “I kid you not!”. Whales were also seen from the bridge. Now at King George Island, South Shetlands. This is Three Brothers Hill.

This is the World Cruise map. The explanation in the bottom left hand corner into the photo didn’t quite fit.

I thought it was a large cake. My wild imagination dreamt that there would be a weekly cake baked with that week’s nautical positioning. The guests would at, at first, gleefully devour said cake. As time went on, the ceremony of the cake lost its lustre. Towards the end of the cruise the cake was an object of fear and derision in equal parts. Cake escape plans were hatched.
