The view or two from my "office"

I just read on the news that one of the people missing in SEQ is a long time friend of mine and a mentor from my early business days. I hope his resilience that I've witnessed over the years, will come through for him again.

Sadly, just after I posted the above, I received an email to say his body has been recovered. Terrible news.

That's sad. The floods have been dreadful. Best wishes.

I am very sorry to hear that Swanning_it. Very sad for all concerned, family friends and the community. Thoughts with you.

Portrait Resturaunt, National Portrait Gallery, London.

Very pleasant office to watch the sun set, and the approach flights to LCY.

Food's not bad either.

Love the view from up there (and also the NPG)

and yes therealTMA - I have the Tate of my list for lunch :)

Excellent. LFT the review. Actually, I've put the NPG restaurant on our list for lunch in May! :)

The trouble with the Whistler is that after lunch you wander into the Tate galleries and can't escape until dinner time!

LFT? In my world that means Liver Function Test and I'm avoiding those like the plague

Let me know how you enjoy the NPG food - I've just been there for coffee and cake

And how are you managing with the wrist? And MrsC with the bad knees?

Oh she is whinging all the time..... not really, it can't be easy though, we have walked lots and lots. I've taken to getting the cast wet in the shower, it dries reasonably quickly and smells much better!

This weeks office. Uni has changed a lot, and not much for the better.

One guy guy started a quiet, but audible phone conversation during a lecture. Lecturer didn't seem to mind, but student next to him sure did! Sorry to say it was an older guy on the phone.
