It's a form of the "Australia Tax"; I am led to believe the "New Zealand" tax is worse ...And tourism associations wonder why Aussies travel overseas.....

I just think tourist places in Australia have jumped on to a price bandwagon without improving the quality of the product or the service. First struck me in Kangaroo Island a few years ago where prices were extortionate for the quality of the food offering and service was awful everywhere. A bit like mention a Wedding and you add an extra zero. It's a form of the "Australia Tax"; I am led to believe the "New Zealand" tax is worse ...
Or a divorse with an extra 3 zeros!A bit like mention a Wedding and you add an extra zero.

Colmar was by far the most quaint (as we expected, having been there before during Summer) but all were nice enough. There were 6 different markets scattered all over Colmar, whereas Strasbourg had quite a few scattered around town too.
Looks like everyone has left town!!!PERfect day for a leisurely and mildly thirst-inducing cycle ride around the Swan River to meet some friends for lunch.
