Not sure why @JohnM drives thousands of kms to see wild flowers. Thankfully just a temporary office for me today. Little walk around Karakatta cemetery this morning. Most likely to be my permanent office when I retire for good

And today I was hoping to have lots of wildflower photos from the Port Augusta arid botanic gardens. They closed all public places in Port Augusta today because of some truck drivers that had passed through PA so went back to the motel in a huff and checked out a day early. Not much else to see and wanted to get away if there are any positive cases.

Not sure if it's true, but I was told there's a pass along that rail line called Pichi Richi Pass and they needed to keep replacing the sign because someone kept scratching out out the first letter of each word.

So good of the NT to postpone Territory Day from July 1, till last night for our arrival in Darwin.

I have fond memories of Guy Fawkes night , as inquisitive and resourceful teenagers we made some doozy fireworks.
The plumbers son made a tin rocket and we concocted all sorts of explosive mixtures.. kids these days don't have much fun….
