They have 2 types of truffle under different trees, these were the summer truffle Jan - June. The others are black truffles and roughly the other half of the year

Very different to the Manjimup truffle season in WA. Here it goes for a few months of winter and that's it.

Yesterday I decided to visit one of Mona Foma's Launceston Art presentations. Now who decided it was a great idea to suspend a 2.4 tonne block of ice above the first basin at Cataract Gorge with dancers to perform on top of it.
Now this is what was supposed to look like.

But at 1530 this is what the view from my office looked like.
