Going back 17 years we spent 3 nights in Juneau waiting for friends who were joining us for our Inside Passage cruise on an 8 person converted crab boat out of Petersburg.
The first morning as 15000 locusts hit the place we hired a car and went as far as the road would take us. Not far but at least peaceful. The problem at night was we liked to have king crab legs for dinner. Hard to find a restaurant that had any left.
