And one tip for the Pullman and also the adjoining Ibis. If you are returning a hire car there is a shortcut to the hotels. If you go to the back wire fence, there are several Emergency exit gates more or less behind the Avis return point, which are open. If you go through there you can scoot across the little laneway into the adjoining car park also via emergency gates and walk straight through to the hotel, rather than having to walk back to the lifts, go up, walk across and down again.

The coughtail was called Sampson and Delilah, which are the names of the two Harland and Wolff cranes which seem to be ever present in the Belfast skyline
