It’s interesting that in uk you can park on opposite side against traffic flow ( as car behind) legally, in Oz one gets fined.

Well, that didn't work out as planned this evening. Three stops from my destination and I could see my home office in sight...

Until the dreaded message from the train driver, "police incident at........station, train will terminate here, buses will replace trains, expect a 60 minute delay"

Well it's so hard to find a park in the UK, you grab one anyway you can. I learned that lesson the hard way after being cut off by other drivers desperate for a spare spot.

Anyone travelling through Argentina and Uruguay this time of year might recognise the Silk Floss tree. But this one is in my neighbourhood in Sydney’s East. I’d never noticed before until getting back from Uruguay this time last year!



It was more impressive last year. Looks like the possums might have moved in…
