What’s not to love about that view?

Years ago, I was taking off to the north on a UA flight seated in the bubble, exit row. The two FAs sitting opposite were having conniptions as they saw that view.

LHR CX F loung

This was the penultimate F lounge I visited before losing WP. It is a great lounge. The final F lounge was in SIN. I was doing LHR-SIN-SYD-MEL in J on points.

Oh the memories.

My office for a short time was the AKL Airport Viewing Area.

We were passing by on our way south and stopped briefly for a look.

Jagged the last car park because the place was packed with locals who’d come to watch an Antonov depart.

For us it was simply right place, right time.

Love my neighbourhood office (Orford, Tas). Went for a bushwalk today looking for a long-lost 170 year-old hut in the bush and a lime kiln.

Found them which was fantastic, but the best part was just the simple views of around the river; coughatoos overhead, lovely sunny day - glorious. Platypus in the water here, but didn’t see them today.
