As usual, I down tools to attend the Test in Brisbane - as I have done for the last 30 years+. Enjoyable to spend time in the Cricketers Club, have silver service lunches, wine 🍷 and beers 🍻 flowing. There has been a group of us going to the match together - clients and friends.

I will give live updates, photos and general commentary over the next three days.

Day 1 - @Captain Halliday sadly had to decline, so invited @Buzzard instead. He’ll enjoy the Torbrecks!

The weather is looking ominous - if play starts on time, it should swing a mile. On the free BCC bus to Woolloongabba Bus Interchange.

Will be even better when the cross river rail is finished

Have a great day @QF WP and @Buzzard .

If it’s any consolation, the weather’s not too flash here either!

Still, the powder is waist deep in places which is awesome, but the wine is certainly not Torbreck.

13.2 overs and it been over for hours so
The BIG QUESTION
Will the bottle count exceed the overs bowled for the Day ??
Less than 15 overs and the public get their ticket money back
