How does that even happen?
Flight fully sold except for F, so 3 discount Y fares suddenly become F?

Good lord!! You need to move fast - Expedia should know what they are talking about, so if you delay any longer you could be hit with a serious fare hike - going by that could be in the millions within scant days. Can you really afford to spend several million dollars on your trip?

Please act quickly!! Lock it in!!!!!

Ive seen that a couple of times when dummy booking a RTW flight ... as soon as I included Singapore in the trip the price went up by a factor or 20 or so. My guess is that the booking engine switched to Singapore Dollars when Singapore 2as included.

A couple years back SQ had similar glitches in their engine. Tried to book an open jaw Y fare to eastern Europe and they came back with over $35K.

I've also had the reverse from Expedia. CNS-MEL for less than 2/3rds what QF site was asking. They honoured it.

I don't see how switching from AUD to SGD would change much considering how close the currency is? Perhaps HKD or IDR.

Well, it's not out of thin air that AJ gets a $24 million salary you know, it's got to come from somewhere.
That somewhere, in this particular case, with @YSSY, was this fare...

Not sure how that comment is at all relevant given its Expedia asking for the money and the correct fares being displayed on the QF site.

You're right, it's not at all relevant.
I was just trying to make a joke in light of the salary that's been doing the rounds as of late.
Probably should've put a "/s" at the end of the comment to make it clear I was just being sarcastic :)

Apparently in p-and-t’s world humour and sarcasm are not acceptable. Probably offensive as well.

When attempting humour or sarcasm in a written text environment where facial expression is not available, it is usual to follow up with a relevant emoji to inform the reader.

Its also risky to make assumptions without facts or background, because they are more often wrong than right.
