TID Promotion Codes

I just used TID4U for 10 % off

I tried that in various combinations of 'TripwiseG 6789' but just got: "Sorry, this code appears to be invalid". Is it perhaps that they know I really need the insurance?

Try just entering "TripwiseG" - I think the extra numbers on the other post were filler to meet the 10 character minimum for AFF posts. ;)

TIDFAF also gives 10% off, in case TripwiseG does not work. TripwiseM is another option, I just used TIDFAF for our annual policy.

Just tried all the recent TID codes in this thread but all have expired. :(

Would also appreciate a TID code if some one can help.

Thank you

I just went with 2 PAX annual international cover with Auspost. $429 with travel10 discount code. They cover Australia (250+km from home) too which I couldn't find anywhere in the TID PDS.

With TID it is 500 Km from home from recollection.

I've gone with TID before without a problem (never had to claim though) but liked the <250km thing as we live 375km from Melbourne. Also I notice on the TID luggage sections, that item claims will be adjusted for "depreciation and wear", so not keen on the ambiguity there.

I don't imagine you'll find any insurance that won't adjust for depreciation and wear.

Remaining OT for a moment. We use the 20% Discount off Columbus Direct Travel Insurance available as an AFF Gold member. We have not needed to claimmbut our daughter and family who are full time travellers (currently in Mexico) have had a few claims and they have been very easy to deal with and quite generous with their claims.

They had a bag go missing recently and got to go and buy $1000 worth of new clothes. (The bag returned after about a weeks private holiday)
