As it says in the title. $238 includes all taxes and cabin baggage up to 7kg.

Much cheaper from PER and ADL.

Must book by 28 Nov (book direct on Tigerair)

Price match to Jetstar for something more civilised + 10% off

Dreamliner makes it bearable

Is Tiger's seat pitch 28.5 cm now? Has it always been? I recall flying TT domestic in exit row and my memory is the seat pitch was the same as JQ and VA ... Much better than NZ. Perhaps I'm wrong!

Exit rows are generally more generous in pitch to accommodate an evacuation. But Tiger's stated pitch is 28.5 inches (not cm!) for their A320s.

The following information summarizes our plane configuration.
Standard configuration:
A320
180 economy seats / 144 economy seats
30 rows & 6 seats per row / 26 rows & 6 seats per row
3 toilets (1 front / 2 rear)
8 exits (2 front / 4 overwing / 2 rear)
Seat width: Approx 46 cm
Seat pitch: Approx 72.5 cm for standard rows; approx 97.5 cm for exit rows

Before everyone gets too carried away, regarding MEL-DPS I am pretty sure that the TT services will be in the new 1-class TT B738 aircraft (apparently 180 seats). The TT services have flight times that do match up with JQ flight times for price beat, but you can already price beat JQ because the fares on Garuda services 40 mins later already undercut JQ at the moment so you may as well fly in Garuda on a A330 with 2-4-2 abreast seating with better food and seat pitch & width rather than the 3-3-3 JQ B787 product anyway.

Regarding A320 aircraft - both the JQ A320 and the TT A320 both claim 180 pax in the 1 class config so can't see how seat width or pitch could be significantly different? Not that it matters as A320's don't have the legs to do MEL-DPS anyway.

Seems JQ has a slightly reduced seat pitch even over TT!

The Jetstar economy seats come with an adjustable headrest, a 28in/71cm seat pitch on the A320 aircraft, 29in/74cm seat pitch on the A321 and 31in/79cm on the A330. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner comes with at least 14 inches of legroom.

TT's 738s have a slightly bigger seat pitch than the A320 (+6cm - so 30' pitch):

B737-800
180 economy seats
30 rows & 6 seats per row
3 toilets (1 front / 2 rear)
8 exits (2 front / 4 overwing / 2 rear)
Seat width: Approx 43 cm
Seat pitch: Approx 78.7 cm for standard rows; Approximately 86.3 cm for extra leg room and exit rows

That remains to be seen, JQ's 787 is effectively a domestic configuration. TT has been slated for several rows with above average pitch which would be superior.
