Wonder what festive season they are referring to, chinese new year falls on Australia day next year, most the fares start after many of us return to work! And thats a long festive season to Adelaide.

The most interesting thing about Sunstar320's string of posts is that it shows Tiger is permanently "on sale" with fares at a fraction of their cost per seat. If you believe the sales Tiger is selling most seats on MEL-ADL for $29.95 of which over half goes to the airports and government before they even turn on the engines. I'd be getting the seats for as long as the poor Singaporean tax payer is prepared to subsidise them. I note that Tiger has still not put out the financial statements for the parent entity (Tiger Aviation) for the financial year ended 31 March, and this was after having already been granted a 3 month extension which has now lapsed.

Whats the PER-SIN prices at the moment ? may even be cheaper to do SIN-PER-MEL than it is to fly jetstar or QF more direct.
Nah... i have done a tiger flight before in Asia.... only short hops. West to East cost is probably a bit long for me...

An offer almost too good to pass up... i have to check out my travel plans tomorrow with the boss... Some cheap fares at the moment thats for sure !
I see now SQ and QF have good fares to Europe.

Tiger is ok for short flights but from SIN they operate from the budget terminal :( 3K operates from T1 which is much much better for me.
I have never flown then in AU so i guess maybe i get the chance soon with these prices.
