Normally Velocity points credit automatically within 3-4 days of Virgin domestic flights.

I have noticed domestic flights taken in the last few days of November have not yet credited. Is this a general issue due to systems upgrade at this time? Will the backlog of flights not yet credited be cleared in the next few days and points then credited automatically?

Waiting around 2 weeks for points to credit isn't that unusual in my experience. Any more than that I'd follow up on it.

I had a couple of flights on Sunday 27/11 that had not credited within a week. I submitted a points claim and they arrived in my account today, 2 days after submitting.

Could non automatic crediting of points be connected with checking in using the self-serve kiosks? Points not credited from end November were for flight for which the self serve checkin was used for the first time. Any one know any other reasons why particular flights do not credit automatically?

I reckon their system goes down now and then. People on flights same day different routes can have sc etc not credit even after 2 wk. I had some points credit months later that I hadn't chased up! But they just appeared.

I only seem to have problems VA

Velocity points have been crediting for domestic flights within 2-3 days over the last few months. However 10 August seems to be an exception. Due to high winds in Sydney on Thursday 10 August, Virgin and Qantas cancelled many flights into and out of Sydney and hence many customers were disrupted and needed to be moved to operating flights. Could this be the reason Velocity points have not yet credited for 10 August? If you traveled on 10 August have your points credited? Velocity Frequent Flyer please comment whether points for 10 August are still to be credited automatically.
