Must've got the last cheap one. Both better than the $279 I was originally on :)

AAA Rate @$189 is less than the Govt rate @ $195

I always thought the Govt rate would be cheaper. Next time I book I will check both rates. Mind you, it is only $6.00.

Might also pay to keep an eye out. If there is plenty of availability the room rate might drop further. I have known people to get a room for $120.00 @ Hilton ADL.

I knew I shouldn't have booked so early. (Two days ago - but don't tell anyone. And not at the Hilton.)

I thought the same once but since started checking I found AAA rate to be cheaper then GOV on many occasions.

The last time +1 and I dined at Selopian Inn we went down stairs to the cellar.
Certainly worth a look GPH.
Say hello to ANH and your guests from me. :p

Looks like I'll be hiring a car (Hertz) as I'm seeing clients Sat PM and have to keep it overnight (as the Downtown office closes at 2pm on Saturdays). But that will now mean I'll check out of the Hilton, take my gear to the car and drive it around to North Terrace (almost directly opposite the bus pick up).

Now trying to work out where to park - Adelaide Central Markets (closer but more expensive) or get some Aquire points (cheaper but further away - 50 Franklin Street)

For those that want a short walk then a chauffeur drive the rest of the way, they can join me.

I will find out what the hourly rate is at Adelaide Uni which is where I park.
Will report back.

You could always pick +1 and I up at home and get free parking at the Uni.:p

About 3 blocks from Hilton according to the maps - I used to have a client in the next door building on Franklin Street, so have walked it before. Will be good to walk and clear the cobwebs at 8.00am

From Franklin Street you could walk to either Victoria Square or Cnr Pirie & King William (closer I think) and catch the free tram to the Convention Ctr (stops outside the Casino then a short walk).

What time does the bus get to the airport?
