Titanic Tour of the Barossa

Sorry Buzz, can't make this one, will be travelling :-)

Could possibly do May depending on the date.

Unlike KPC I do need some rest - so, even comping back from Japan a day earlier I will bow out now and will look forward to a better fated ship to set sail in the future ... :D

Lucky I got Mrs QF WP on the list in time.

Buzzard, we are speechless at your ability to source and arrange these events.

Never get between an AFFer and a bottle of red ... Or a wine tour organised by Buzzard!

Thanks for the opportunity Buzz and I hope we can help you by being half as organised as you

Titanic Tour of the Barossa

So to be serious... am I in for this or should I cancel my flights and accommodation?

Neither of us nor Jess T. Did you say yes at the get go? I think you might just have "liked". I posted I was a shade lighter than platinum.

In less than 24 hours this event has sold out and is now wait listed. I don't even recall listing the full details or a cost. I am speechless. I am without speech.

If you are interested in coming along, please indicate this as I may rerun the event in May if the numbers are there or a spot may become available for this trip.

During the next couple of days, +1 and I shall come up with a spiel and post some more information and pictures for this tour. I can tell you however that the cost is $95.00

Once the event goes live, and I shall send you all a PM as a reminder, you will have 72 hours to purchase your ticket(s). Should you not purchase within that time you will be moved to Gold and your spot will be offered to the wait list in order or just made available if there is no wait list. Please let me know if you think this is unreasonable, I'm not here to upset anybody.

So in no particular order the list of attendees is:

Platinum:

GPH
ALH
boomy
RooFlyer
jojen + 1
blackcat20
TomVexille
Kabander + 1
Straitman + 1
QF WP + 1
pagingjoan + 1
Markis10
Princess Fiona + 1
munitalP +1
other + 1
Buzzard + 1

Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

I suspect a Barossa MK 2 will be needed. Heck, you may even find repeat biz from Mk1

I booked flights and accom previously, but completely missed this thread until the weekend.

I wasn't sure how or where to purchase tickets? Was that posts in this thread?

No it wasn't. Seems a lot of people jumped wihtout any info.

Either way, Buzzard needs to clear his PM inbox

Tickets haven't been sold yet but seems people were so keen they have claimed spots. Hopefully Buzz gets back to you.

As most who have been on a Buzzard Barossa tour can attest, it's one that we all want to attend - he has contacts everywhere. All we know is that it's going to cost $95. Seeing it was enough for me to commit for me, then later for my wife, but it looks like she could be wavering after our retaining wall collapse. I'll get back to you Buzzard
